Steef-Jan is a Microsoft MVP, blogger, author and frequent public speaker. He has over 15 years of experience as a technical lead developer and application architect, specializing in custom applications, enterprise application integration (BizTalk), Web services and Windows Azure. He works for Macaw in Netherlands as Principal Consultant.
Steef-Jan has faced integration challenges in a diverse range of industries, where he has done architecting, designing, developing, and supporting sophisticated and innovative software using many different Microsoft technologies and products.
Steef-Jan is the author of the “BizTalk Server 2010 Cookbook” (Packt Publishing, 2012), and was technical reviewer of the “BizTalk Server 2010 Patterns” (Packt Publishing, 2011),“(MCTS): Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 (70-595) Certification Guide” (Packt Publishing, 2012),“Getting Started with BizTalk Services”(Packt Publishing 2014), and “(MCTS): Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 (70-595) Certification Guide 2nd Edition” (Packt Publishing, 2014) .
Steef-Jan lives in Holland. He is married to Lian and has three lovely children Stan, Ellis and Cato. Last but not the least, he is accompanied by his faithful English Cocker Spaniel Barry. He is a certified MCDBA, MCSD, MCSD.NET, MCSA, MCAD, MCTS: BizTalk Server BizTalk Server 2006, BizTalk Server 2006 R2, BizTalk Server 2010 and the BizTalk Server 2013 Assessment.
