Feature Highlights of the Year
Here’s a quick overview of the key enhancements that empower administrators to maintain seamless integration and drive productivity:
- Certificate Monitoring – BizTalk360 monitors certificates to ensure secure communication between systems by sending alerts before expiration. For companies using BizTalk Server for secure EDI communication, expired AS2 certificates can disrupt trading partner connections, causing delays and losses. Proactive monitoring prevents disruptions and ensures business continuity. In industries like finance and healthcare, expired SSL/TLS certificates can lead to security risks. BizTalk360 simplifies compliance by tracking certificates, setting expiry reminders, and providing automated alerts to stay ahead of potential issues.
- Application Dashboard – The Application Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of application health, including host instance status, message transactions, tracking, and service instance performance. Users can generate reports, accessing all critical application information in one place. Predefined widgets offer insights into application health, artifact status, service instance performance, and host instance details.
- Alarm and Automated Task Integration – Automated Tasks simplify administrative tasks by automating actions like starting or stopping ports, NT services, and applications. Integration with alarms triggers automatic actions when thresholds are violated. For instance, a healthcare organization can set up automated tasks to restart applications or host instances if files are stuck at ports, ensuring smooth operations.
- Tracking Monitoring – Tracking events in BizTalk help identify issues early and maintain visibility across integrated systems. Losing messages without tracking complicates issue resolution. BizTalk360 monitors tracking event statuses for relevant ports and triggers alerts if misconfigurations occur. The AutoCorrect feature ensures automatic correction when tracking status deviates from expectations.
- IBM MQ Monitoring – BizTalk360 enhances IBM MQ monitoring by tracking queue managers, channels, and listeners. Monitoring queues helps detect message buildup or aging, while channel monitoring prevents disruptions from inactive or stopped states. Listener monitoring ensures active message processing, with AutoCorrect to fix mismatched statuses and automatic restart for inactive listeners.
- Reporting – Schedule and generate detailed reports for the Analytics Dashboard, Application Dashboard, and secure SQL queries with enhanced reporting capabilities.
- Advisor Score Card – Utilize BizTalk360 Advisor to analyze your product usage and environment health, receiving actionable insights to make the most of all features.
- Azure Resource Monitoring – Monitor Standard Logic Apps for threshold violations with instant notifications. Use Azure widgets to view detailed metrics for Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus Queues, and Topics directly in the Analytics Dashboard.
