BizTalk Server 2020: Step-by-Step WCF-SAP Adapter installation guide

by Sandro Pereira,

There is no standard information about the BizTalk WCF-SAP Adapter installation process and how it works.

Especially in old versions of the adapter, where there was a need to use the classic RFC library to connect to SAP.

Fortunately for us, this process is now more direct with the latest updates from BizTalk Server 2020. The Microsoft BizTalk Adapter Packs x86 and x64 are now installed with the default installation process.

However, that does not mean everything is ready for you to use out-of-the-box. And that’s why in this whitepaper, we have put together a step by step procedure for WCF-SAP adapter installation.

What’s in store for you?

This whitepaper will give you a detailed understanding of the following:

  • Download SAP Resources from SAP Service Marketplace
  • Install SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET
  • Make sure that the WCF-SAP adapter is properly installed
