Before BizTalk360, we were using Microsoft SCOM, as most people do, to monitor the server application log. However, SCOM did not provide the same functionality as BizTalk360. To illustrate the complexity of our BizTalk environment, we have five BizTalk servers and more than 70 BizTalk applications.
These are the top 2 reasons why BizTalk360 makes our day-to-day process easier:
There are several other reasons as well, but still the above-mentioned are the top reasons that made us choose BizTalk360 for our BizTalk Server environment.
We were able to overcome the challenges that we were facing earlier:
We use BizTalk360 for our day-to-day activities, but Monitoring remains one of our favourites. Out of these, we use Application monitoring and Threshold Monitoring as a frequently used feature on our end.
Those who are using BizTalk Server should consider BizTalk360. This is because it provides admins with the ability to use it for daily tasks, but also allows end-users to search and monitor specific actions and applications for quicker responses and resolutions. BizTalk360 gave us a positive impact with specific metrics, for example, the tool lowering the amount of priority email alerts (high) due to multiple alerts being triggered in the environment.
Using this tool, we were able to customize monitoring and send alerts to multiple recipients. This has been a real help for visibility and results in a much quicker resolution time.
We have benefited a lot from BizTalk360 in terms of business goals; for example, this tool has eliminated a lot of the reliance on the integration team for retrieving data relevant to a problem and has allowed for more granular monitoring based on error priority.
The following items are extremely good in BizTalk360, and I wanted to share my experience. Let us get started right from requirement gathering till date:
