October 25 - 27, 2017 INTEGRATE is a global annual conference organized by BizTalk360 for people working in the Microsoft Integration space. This year, we organized INTEGRATE 2017 in London on June 26 - 28. The response to the event was tremendous with about 382 attendees from over 50+ countries coming together to learn about Microsoft's roadmap and the entire integration ecosystem.
We received quite a lot of queries from people in the US asking if the INTEGRATE event could be done in the US. After lot of consideration and understanding the fact that not many people can travel all the way to Europe to attend a 3-day conference, we decided to execute the INTEGRATE 2017 USA event this year.

As executive vice president of the Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise group, Scott Guthrie is responsible for the company’s cloud infrastructure, server, database, management and development tools businesses. His engineering team builds Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, System Center, Visual Studio and .NET.
Prior to leading the Cloud and Enterprise group, Guthrie helped lead Microsoft Azure, Microsoft’s public cloud platform. Since joining the company in 1997, he has made critical contributions to many of Microsoft’s key cloud, server and development technologies and was one of the original founders of the .NET project. Guthrie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Duke University. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
Jim Harrer is a Principle Group Program Manager in the Cloud and Enterprise team. Jim recently joined Microsoft in February 2016, his team’s responsibilities include Program Manager for BizTalk Server, Logic Apps and Azure Scheduler. Before joining Microsoft, Jim was VP Application Development for TrueBlue, Inc (a $2.5BN specialized workforce solutions including staffing, large-volume on-site workforce management) where he was responsible for all internally developed line-of-business applications and integrations.

Jeff Hollan is a Program Manager on the Azure App Services team working with Logic Apps. He joined the team in July, and spent his first few years at Microsoft in IT working across Marketing, Partner, and Engineering services. He’s very passionate about data, integration, and the Internet of Things – which has definitely made his first few months in Logic Apps very enjoyable.
Valerie Robb is a Microsoft Senior Program Manager for both BizTalk Server and Host Integration Server. She is passionate about enabling Microsoft customers to interoperate with disparate backend systems using Microsoft technologies. Her background includes supporting BizTalk as an Escalation Engineer as well as spending time with the product team as a Program Manager.
Paul Larsen is a Principal Program Manager for the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond. Paul leads the Host Integration engineering team to deliver and support Azure, BizTalk, SQL, Office, and Windows connectors to existing IBM systems.
I have been part of the software industry for more than 20 years, as a developer, software architect, technology evangelist, and product manager.

Saravana is a Microsoft Integration MVP since 2007. In the year 2013, he was also awarded "Integration MVP of the Year 2013" by Microsoft. After getting frustrated seeing customers struggling with same challenges again and again when it comes to BizTalk server administration and operations, in 2010 he started a pet project to address some of the challenges, which slowly turned out into full blown commercial product with a 50 member team spread between UK and India. Right now there are about 500 companies worldwide using BizTalk360 to streamline their BizTalk server operations and monitoring.

Nick Hauenstein is an integration developer, consultant and trainer based in the greater Seattle area. He specializes in BizTalk Server, Azure App Service, as well as the data formats, protocols, and frameworks that surround them. As a consultant he has travelled all over the country to help build, refine and optimize complex mission-critical BizTalk Server based integrations in the healthcare and financial verticals. He has worn many hats over the years as a small business owner, software development engineer, tester, and a Scrum Master. He is also an avid blogger, open source contributor, as well as the creator and maintainer of the T-Rex Metadata Library for Azure App Service.

Sandro Pereira lives in Portugal and works as a consultant at DevScope. In the past years, he has been working on implementing Integration scenarios both on-premises and cloud for various clients, each with different scenarios from a technical point of view, size, and criticality, using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft BizTalk Server and different technologies like AS2, EDI, RosettaNet, SAP, TIBCO etc.

This topic is very well documented by the product group but the problem is that it is very extensive and complex. This presentation will aim to guide you through the most important steps, operations or task you need to do in order to boost the performance of BizTalk that you can adjust or follow according to your needs because, depending on your infrastructure, this can be a straightforward operation or a very extensive and hard operation. But I will try to keep it as simple as possible so everyone can understand and follow.
