What is a BizTalk Environment?
BizTalk360 is priced at BizTalk environment level. It's important for the customer to understand the definition of a BizTalk Environment
A BizTalk environment (aka BizTalk group) will have one or more BizTalk Servers (for high availability and load balancing), and one or more SQL servers (for high availability). There will be only one BizTalk management database (BizTalkMgmtDb) for the whole environment/group. The management database will have information about all the BizTalk/SQL server(instances) in the group. When supplying the license we will ask for the SQL server instance name where the BizTalk management database is hosted (details here). The below picture shows a sample group (Note: Not all the databases are displayed).
Example Licensing Scenario(s):
1. You are interested in buying BizTalk360 for 1 production environment (1 or 2
BizTalk Servers) and 1 QA environment (1 or more BizTalk). You are using Microsoft
BizTalk Server Enterprise edition
The total licensing cost will be $6999 + $1399 = $8,398.
2. You are interested in buying BizTalk360 for 1 production environment (1 or 2
BizTalk servers) and 3 QA environments - SIT, UAT, Performance (1 or more BizTalk
servers in each environment). You are using Microsoft BizTalk Server Enterprise
Option 1: Buy package deal at the cost of $9,999 (or)
Option 2: The total licensing cost will be $6999 + $1399 * 3 => $6999 + $4197 => $11,196
3. You are interested in buying BizTalk360 for 1 production environment. You are
using Microsoft BizTalk Server Standard edition
The total licensing cost will be $1399.
Pay by PO/Bank Transfer:
Due to enterprise nature of the product, majority of our sales are done via the Quote>Purchase Order>Payment route. This is the standard process
- Customer Request for an official Quote
- Kovai Litd(BizTalk360) supplies the quote
- Quote gets approved and PO number is provided
- License Keys, Service Certificate and Invoice are supplied to customer, with agreed payment terms (normally NET30)
- Customer pays the invoice via Bank transfer
Pay by Credit Card:
We also provide customers the option to pay by credit card. If you have verified
PayPal account you can pay via PayPal, or we can accept credit card payment via
telephone, authorized using BarclayCard.
We do not store credit card details locally nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Enterprise and Standard edition?
If you are using Microsoft BizTalk Server Enterprise edition, then you'll require BizTalk360 Enterprise edition. If you are using Microsoft BizTalk Server Standard edition, then you'll require BizTalk360 Standard edition.
Support and Software Assurance (Optional):
Customers can purchase annual support and free software upgrades by paying 25% per year of the total purchase price. This will entitle them for priority support and free upgrades to new releases during the contract period without any additional charges.

We reserve the right to charge additional taxes if required by law.
What’s the refund policy?
If you’re not satisfied, for any reason, within 15 days you get a full refund, period, no questions asked.
Can we just purchase the QA license?
No. QA license is heavily subsidised, hence it cannot be purchased in isolation. In order to buy QA license you must have procured the full production license.
We have too many environments, have you got any volume discounts?
Yes. For large organisations we provide volume discounts. Please contact us to get more information.
What happens if we don’t buy support/software assurance?
Support will be provided on the best effort basis via our forum . Fixes will be provided for any bugs identified. Customers will also miss out on important product updates and future versions. As a growing company we constantly bring new features to the product.
What happens if we don’t RENEW support/software assurance?
This applies mainly for existing customers, not renewing their annual support. In this case, support will be provided on the best effort basis via our forum . Fixes will be provided for any bugs identified. Customers will also miss out on important product updates and future versions. After 2 months elapse period (we will send enough notifications, prior and after annual support date), customer cannot just renew the support. They will require to pay upgrade price to get new version of BizTalk360.
Can we buy BizTalk360 via our preferred software provider (reseller)?
Absolutely. Please ask your software provider/reseller to get in touch with us (email@example.com) or please provide us their contact details. We will work with them based on their procurement process.
How does the 14 days trial work?
The trial version is fully functional for 14 days without any restrictions. After the 14 days period, the trial user should purchase the required commercial license(s).
Will the pricing vary based on number of servers?
Everything described in this page will apply to environments with 3 or less BizTalk servers in a single BizTalk environment. If you have BizTalk environments with 4 or more BizTalk servers, please contact us for custom quote.
Will the pricing vary based on number of users?
No, there are no restrictions on the number of users.
We got a DR environment, what license do we need?
Any environment other than production is treated as QA. Hence a QA license at reduced price is required for the DR environment.
How can we purchase BizTalk360?

What’s your support response time/working hours?
We will respond your query within 24 hours maximum (normally much quicker than this). Our official working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30 EST.

How does the SMS/Text functionality work? What's the pricing?
We provide SMS functionality via our own gateway. We built our own gateway to simplify the configuration and to avoid dependencies with 3rd parties. We haven't finalized on the pricing for SMS. We are giving this service free until 1st October 2012 for our paid customers (there is cap of 500 messages per month). Trial users will get 40 free messages.
Do you offer initial Training / Setup?
Some customers ask us to help them setup BizTalk360 correctly and provide eduction to their internal staff. We can provide 3-4 hours session with the customer understanding their requirements and helping their IT staff to configure BizTalk360 correctly (via telephone/live meeting). Please contact us for the quote. If the volume of transaction is high (roughly over $25k), we offer this service free of charge.

We got our own standard vendor license agreements, do you accept it?
Yes. We understand large organisations and resellers got their own standard vendor license agreements. We are happy to work with customer specific agreements, as long as we can charge separately for our legal expenses. BizTalk360 is priced very fairly, this is the only way we can accomodate any custom license agreements.
